2026-09-26 · CPH OG Images
Historical notes added on October 5, 2026 for the unchanged September 26, 2026 release. CPH OG Images provides sitemap-based page inventories, image audits, reviewed social-image assignment and site branding. CreatorPublishingHub.com owns the release; MatthewxMurphy.com is the developer. These notes were not present when the original release was distributed.
What changed
- Preserves Yoast's native title and description resolution while applying explicitly reviewed Open Graph and Twitter images. Explicit copy overrides remain optional. Yoast continues to own canonical URLs, robots, schema and sitemap output.
- Requests an exact-page Cache Enabler purge after an image assignment is saved, excluding child and unrelated pages. A fresh public inspection is still required to verify delivery.
- Rejects unresolved share-title template variables during inspection and supports the documented Twitter-description fallback when no explicit Twitter description is present.
- Records media-input validation failures as failed operations before processing instead of leaving them pending. Uncertain failures remain pending for reconciliation, and the upload guide identifies the required attachment title.
- Retains sitemap discovery, visual review evidence, favicon and login branding, owner-controlled site and page locks, and site-bound Pro entitlements. Free manages up to 50 links; eligible Pro installations can manage the full inventory and use explicitly configured fleet coordination.
Verification
- Historical release evidence records 752 checks across six PHP suites, 32 native WordPress and Yoast copy checks, 16 isolated Cache Enabler checks and 24 upgrade-helper regression tests. These are the original release results, not a claim that the full suite was rerun when these notes were added.
- Historical deployment records verify all seven original installations, authenticated version and entitlement readbacks, denied anonymous and invalid access, preserved canonical metadata and public social-image delivery. The reviewed article retained its existing image and passed inspection after the exact-page cache purge.
- On October 5, 2026 the public update manifest and downloaded 206,724-byte ZIP were checked again. The artifact remains version 2026.9.26.04 with SHA-256 639105d64b7006f094935b7d79f481e498e9a91d6c0710584d0c55a6ce16f68a. No package bytes or runtime version were changed to add these notes.
- TaylorxQuinn.com: all 16 installed file hashes match the released manifest; the effective Free plan, inventory schema, no OG schedule, preserved existing plugins/theme/update enrollment and unchanged public canonical/social metadata were verified. Browser discovery completed with nine URLs. A defect in the deployment verifier was corrected and verified before reactivation; the plugin artifact was unchanged.
Rollout
The original rollout was verified on Creator Publishing Hub, Creator Newsdesk, The Factology Daily, The Daily Smirk, Love Lies Abroad, Credit Repair Choices and BoldTeeHub. Existing site locks and work restrictions were retained. On October 5, 2026, the unchanged artifact was installed and verified on TaylorxQuinn.com in Free mode. Its sitemap discovery completed with nine URLs; the authenticated WordPress dashboard and a homepage image audit were verified. No artwork was generated or assigned, and no media-processing worker or paid entitlement was provisioned.
Updating
- The unchanged installable artifact is https://creatorpublishinghub.com/wp-content/cph-extension-releases/cph-og-images/cph-og-images-2026.9.26.04.zip. Verify its SHA-256 against the value above before installation. This retrospective entry does not create a newer software release.
- Requires WordPress 6.4 or later and PHP 8.1 or later; the original release was tested with WordPress 7.1. Back up the selected plugin and its affected settings before an authorized installation or update, preserving saved artwork, licenses and site or page locks.
- Open the WordPress OG Images menu after installation. Confirm the effective plan, sitemap owner, authentication and intended integrations before discovery or image work. Keep the existing Creator Publishing Hub updater endpoint and verify public metadata after any approved assignment.
- Later source checkpoints and private evaluation candidates are separate from this artifact. Their version labels do not establish that those changes are included in this stable download.
Scope and limitations
- Free's 50-link management limit is enforced by the plugin. A valid site-bound entitlement is required for Pro; billing, customer checkout and license sales are separate services.
- This package is not a standalone image generator or hosted worker. Its optional image-processing integration requires separately configured operator infrastructure and authentication. Installation does not generate artwork, assign images, start a background schedule or publish socially.
- A discovered sitemap URL has not necessarily been inspected or visually reviewed. Image dimensions alone do not establish image quality, and only a fresh check of public metadata and image bytes verifies delivery.
- Public page checks do not prove that Facebook or other external caches have refreshed. Those observations must be recorded separately.
- Public notes were missing from the original release workflow and were added retrospectively on October 5, 2026. Original release artifacts and their checksums remain unchanged.
