2026-10-03 · Creator Publishing Hub Personal Social Desk, Audience Profile Scanner
Social Desk opens with important follower updates, a larger full-window layout, and clear scanner coverage.
What changed
- A new Important updates home screen shows sourced memorial-label and possible bereavement review hints, saved public profile changes, and relationships due for another observation.
- Larger text, compact spacing, direct navigation icons with tooltips, and a full-window desktop layout improve readability. Detailed follower statistics remain available through a direct home-screen link.
- Startup loads only the selected view. Draft and Story feeds show 24 records at a time with Show more. Derived relationship summaries avoid repeated concurrent builds.
- The profile scanner excludes visitor timeline posts from the owner activity date and recognizes a scoped Facebook Remembering profile label.
- Friends, protected profiles, and recorded engagers remain eligible for periodic scanning. The observer can use an existing local browser session through a separate observation tab without copying browser credentials.
- Release artifacts and deployment records retain the permanent public version notes URL.
- Signed-in pages with generic Facebook titles or notification counters now use the exact saved profile name for owner-versus-visitor activity and memorial-header matching.
Verification
- The local source feature contract passed for nine views, 79 controls, and 179 API routes.
- The complete local suite passed 584 tests with one existing platform skip. All 585 tests passed on the deployment host, including the scanner process-lock checks and signed-in generic-title regression.
- Live browser and installed-app review confirmed the new home screen, larger type, all nine views, 24-to-48 draft paging, saved follower statistics and statistic drilldowns. The canonical scanner completed a fresh accessible observation with the corrected owner-name logic and no login wall.
Rollout
Installed and verified for the maintained Social Desk installation. The canonical profile scanner saved a fresh accessible observation through the existing browser session, and its regular 30-profile batch timer was restored. Captured coverage remains partial.
Updating
- Refresh or reopen Social Desk after rollout to load the new app shell. No follower-data migration is required.
- The scanner session connection must be configured locally for installations that use an existing signed-in browser. No browser credentials are included in this release.
Scope and limitations
- A review hint is not a death confirmation and does not authorize messaging, memorialization, blocking, unblocking, or removal. Source dates remain visible.
- Captured follower and engagement coverage is partial. Missing observations or an active timer do not prove that a Facebook profile was successfully scanned.
- Facebook login walls, checkpoints, inaccessible profiles, and missing exact profile links can still prevent observations.
- The current imported post-performance store contains no historical export analysis; the update does not invent or reconstruct missing performance data.
