Use Internal system for commercial audio labels while preserving existing narration, API identifiers and reporting behavior.
What changed
- Rename the audio plugin and its administration labels to Internal system terminology. Replace personal setup wording and disabled-worker claims with neutral voice registration guidance.
- Add provider_label for customer-facing presentation in capabilities and voice responses while preserving the existing provider identifier, routes, voice IDs and automation contracts.
- Use Internal system terminology in the network reporting disclosure; retain unknown-source and unknown-duration limits.
Verification
- Fourteen offline UI/API checks passed, covering both setup states, provider-label compatibility and administrator access.
- Exact source hashes and executable-token comparison passed for three changed files; five PHP syntax checks and zero-fuzz patch reproduction passed.
- The scoped engineering standard and exact staged source scan passed. Installed candidate hashes and native runtime versions matched on all eight network installations and six existing audio installations.
- Before-and-after hashes and counts confirmed unchanged private configuration, reporting consent, owner entitlements, voice configuration, schedules and recorded audio jobs; prior network bundles were preserved.
- The installed WordPress audio administration screen and network reporting disclosure were visually verified on Creator Publishing Hub. No generation request or audio job was issued during verification.
Rollout
Completed and verified on the eight managed network-reporting installations and the six sites that already had the audio add-on. The audio add-on remains absent from the other two sites.
Updating
- Operator-managed update with preserved prior files and network bundle. No customer action is required. Components absent from a site remain absent.
- Existing API provider identifiers remain stable; interfaces can use the added provider_label field for display.
Scope and limitations
- No voices, audio jobs, generation requests, schedules, Page connections, plan entitlements or reporting consent are added or changed.
- The voice-demo gallery and public marketing metrics are separately versioned components. This update does not establish audio-generation or hosting availability.
