Adds administrator-issued complimentary annual Pro licenses without creating a paid order.
What changed
- Adds a separate, audited complimentary-license lifecycle with private encrypted keys and idempotent issuance.
- Complimentary Pro licenses cover five sites for one year. They carry no automatic renewal or managed-audio subscription.
- Keeps paid checkout and paid-order validation independent. Local administrators can revoke a gift while complimentary activation is disabled.
Verification
- Passed 38 offline complimentary checks and 28 existing audio-client checks, plus PHP syntax validation.
- Passed 57 isolated WordPress and real SQL checks, including concurrent issuance, final-slot activation, fresh gift storage, revocation and private output verification; three disabled-service checks also passed.
- An existing isolated legacy paid-order fixture contains duplicate historical rows and reports its unique-index warning; fresh complimentary storage and all new entitlement checks passed. No live paid-order data was involved.
- Live PHP readback confirmed preserved plugin activation state and unchanged paid/audio billing flags. The saved customer inventory contains one complimentary annual Pro entitlement; real HTTPS validation rejected an unactivated site as expected.
Rollout
Installed and verified on CreatorPublishingHub.com. Deployed runtime hashes match the reviewed source checkpoint. The complimentary service is enabled; paid checkout and audio billing remain disabled. A separately authorized customer grant was issued and reread successfully; the real HTTPS validation endpoint correctly reports its intended site as unactivated. No customer email was sent and no site activation was performed.
Updating
- Back up the selected plugin files and relevant license storage. Keep the encryption key outside served directories and configure complimentary service separately from paid checkout.
- Retain gift records and the protected key during rollback. Disabling complimentary activation and restoring previous plugin files suspends gift acceptance without deleting the audit trail.
Scope and limitations
- This release does not configure a payment gateway, enable paid checkout or enroll customers in managed audio.
- Issuance is a local administrator operation. Receiving sites need a compatible CPH Pro client; a saved license is not proof of site activation or every product feature.
- Annual gifted customer terms remain separate from existing lifetime Developer grants for owned sites.
