2026-10-05 ยท OG Images by MatthewxMurphy.com
Renames the plugin and its visible dashboard branding to OG Images by MatthewxMurphy.com. The existing sitemap inventory, artwork, permissions and integration identifiers are preserved.
What changed
- Removes CPH and Creator Publishing Hub from the displayed product name, dashboard branding and developer credits. MatthewxMurphy.com is the product owner and developer.
- Updates the WordPress plugin listing, product link, dashboard header/footer, visible help text and public guide name.
- Accepts the established calendar release format with a two-digit day while retaining valid historical versions and strict update validation.
- Preserves the existing installation folder, stored data, API routes, signed-license product identity and update-service URLs for compatibility. Existing images and reviews remain in place.
Verification
- 878 focused checks passed across seven PHP suites; all 13 PHP files passed syntax validation and JavaScript syntax validation passed.
- The release package passed path and credential scans. All 21 installed files match the published package hashes.
- TaylorxQuinn.com was verified through its native WordPress runtime and rendered administrator dashboard. All nine sitemap entries, prior review records, stored settings, active plugins, plan and artwork metadata are preserved.
- The GitHub source branch was updated and independently re-read. Public package bytes match the published SHA-256.
Rollout
Verified on TaylorxQuinn.com as version 2026.10.05.008. Other installations retain their existing version; the global update manifest is unchanged.
Updating
- This is an update of the existing OG Images plugin. Keep its existing installation identity; do not install a second copy or delete saved inventory.
- Back up the plugin and affected database state before updating. No database migration, new paid entitlement or automatic background processing is introduced.
- Release notes and package hosting remain on the existing distribution service; displayed ownership and branding are MatthewxMurphy.com.
- Earlier versions require controlled installation of this release because their update parser does not accept two-digit days. This rollout leaves the existing global update manifest unchanged.
Scope and limitations
- Free manages up to 50 links. Existing plan limits, owner controls and review requirements remain in force.
- Sitemap discovery and auditing do not generate artwork. Optional agent uploads require separately configured authentication and media-processing infrastructure.
- Existing technical identifiers retain their cph prefix to preserve upgrades and saved data. This release does not rename or move the update service.
